Petate: mat
Thinking about a piece and putting it into creation, confronts us with the idea of the piece as a text. From the mere intention, we can understand something almost naturally: it is part of something we know. From which we can then humbly translate and re-interpret the artisanal work through design.

Our petate: there is an answer. Hand-woven by the hands of the artisans and applying new knowledge to the ancestral palm-weaving technique, we offer a new creation.
