MATERIAL INTELLIGENCEWOOVEN IN HISTORY
Our work begins with close collaboration with artisans and a deep respect for material intelligence, process, and time. With over 30 weaving techniques crafted in low-tech, sustainable materials such as palm, tule, cotton, and wool, we translate traditional craft knowledge into architectural scale.
By bridging ancestral knowledge with a contemporary design lens, we create meaningful work that connects cultures, disciplines, and generations—honoring tradition while allowing it to evolve within present-day contexts.

Txt.ure was the first design project to reintroduce the Mexican weaving style of the knotted tule technique. Once in danger of disappearing, the txt.01 tabouret or in Nahuatl the tolli-icpalli knotting method, now gives structure to signature works from the txt.ure Tule Collection, developed with master artisans to achieve durability and contemporary scale.

We choose materials the same way we choose words.
As we weave, we talk. With the materials, we work with the expertise of our hands. We create a message that is a reflection of who we are, based on how we combine a history that is also ours.

The result of a multi-year collaborative research project with Casa Luis Barragán, we recovered a lost technique—a Mexican (and possibly Turkish-inspired) hand-knotted rug that architect Luis Barragán had selected for wool floor coverings in his own home.

Área Rugs are our bet for the Hospitality Industry.
They allow volume and an intensive use plus, a low maintenance make them a neutral and timeless. Typically, it is one of the household items that take more investment in the interior’s world. We think they don't need to be inaccessible.
That is why, the idea behind this design proposition is that Área Rugs have an amazing benchmark for their price, their quality and their size.
