Casa Luis Barragán

A preservation project, Casa Luis Barragán commissioned txt.ure team to reproduce the extinct weaving technique that Architect Barragán selected for his famous Cuarto Blanco. txt.ure refurbished 30 square meters from the UNESCO´s World Heritage Site, learning again how to weave a lost, but perfect technique.

Kurimanzutto Gallery and veteran Architect and Designer Oscar Hagerman invited txt.ure team to resolve part of the exhibition display. For this project, txt.ure produced a 128 sq. meter giant Petate, which sections were woven by hands of Master Artisan Don Nacho Morales and our team during 5 exhaustive work days.
